He has recently put several particularly nice bows from his collection on sale. This in addition to an already spectacular selection of fine bows makes now an excellent time to upgrade your bow!

Nicolaus Kittel was known as "The Russian Tourte," and his workshop produced bows of unsurpassed quality which were used by the greatest soloists, among them Heifetz, Elman, Stern, Kogan, and Menuhin. Kittel bows are extremely rare and almost never come on the market. We are offering two of the finest examples we have ever seen. One, known as the "ex Ted Hinkle" after the famous concertmaster and soloist who used it, is silver mounted and is in excellent condition. The other example is magnificent with a gold mounted tortoise shell frog and in a superb state of preservation. Naturally, both bows have playing qualities suitable for the finest concert artist.
