Gary grew up in the Bay Area and with the help of Boyd Poulson, went to the Violin Making School of America, enrolling at the young age of 17. He then went to Germany to perfect his skills working with a number of makers, returning in 1990. After working with Rafael Carrabba in Seattle, he opened his own shop in Salt Lake. He is highly respected for his excellent work. This would be a great choice for ensemble playing.
